Trumps tax returns have been subpoenaed
2 years ago no Comment

New filings in court looks like trouble for Individual 1 A look back. In April of this year, two committees from the House of Representatives, filed subpoenas to both Deutsche Bank and Capital One for financial information regarding Trump, some members of his family and his businesses. He, and members of his cabinet and even Our attorney general, William Barr, filed suits and briefs to stop any disclosure. It has wound it’s way thru the court system thru the summer and we are finally seeing the light of day. On a procedural day in court, last Friday the 23rd, both banks cited ‘contractual obligations’ toRead More →

anything that comes out of his mouth

That’s what he posted early Monday Morning from the G7 Summit Over the last few months, through social media and in person, I have made some enemies of folks for stating my mind and my position about this President, his administration and the way the swamp folks have handled domestic and world affairs, since he was sworn in as #45. On the other hand, I’ve given voice to those that, for whatever reason, have not spoken out before against the blind trust some people have in the way things are going. This post is to those people that believe everything is just rosy and it’sRead More →

President Trump hard at work.

Let’s see. You are the President of the United States and you are in France attending a summit of the 7 most powerful counties in the world. You have meetings scheduled all day with some of the world leaders, a breakfast here, lunch there. But for some reason, you are up at 2:30am France time tweeting about how great ‘your’ stock market is. But even worse than your self centered look at things, you are assuming that if your democratic opponent would have won the election, it would have tanked, or ‘CRASHED’ as you put it.           Since you are toRead More →

Increasing Tariffs and Stocks Are Tanking As of this Saturday morning, the country is absorbing another large loss on the US Stock market, while all of us are looking to pay for a stupid trade war that hopefully, will finally get some spineless Republican congressmen to open their mouths. Not really counting on it though, because then ‘The Chosen One’ will come after them as a traitor to their party and country, much like he attacked the Jewish people if they decided to vote Democratic. If you are not a farmer, or a consumer of large household items, such as washers/dryers, refrigerators and televisions, etc.,Read More →

More Women need to have a seat in the capitol
2 years ago no Comment

That old adage ‘A woman’s place is in the House’ if proving to be just what this country needs, and a few more in the Senate wouldn’t hurt come 2020. From local and state level elections this year, to next years Presidential run, I would like to see more women running and elected, on both sides of the aisle. Record number of women When the 116th congress was sworn in during the first week of January, 2019, a record number of women took their seats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. And hopefully, it’s only the beginning. In the House, there areRead More →

A check list for getting a good contractor
2 years ago no Comment

We’ve heard it all before, ‘My cousin Vinny can do that kitchen remodel for you cheaper than any contractor around’. Or ‘Charles did our bathroom and I think it looks great, saved me thousands’. Saving money on a room or whole house remodel is important, but as they say, you get what you pay for. In setting up that first meeting, let the prospective contractor know what you are wanting ahead of time. Tell them that you want a new kitchen and all that’s involved. New cabinets, counter top, flooring, back splash, new paint on the walls and a nice new floor. You do thisRead More →

Individual-1’s hand picked Attorneys General has done what most people, including myself, figured he would, as he gave Congress a four page glossed over letter with his interpretation of the two year Robert Mueller probe. And he did it in under than 48 hours no less. It was/is clearly one sided, no, not true, a Partisan attempt to say ‘nothing to be seen here, move on’ and make America great again. Barr was picked for a reason And he didn’t let the person who picked him down. He auditioned for the position after he turned down being Trump’s personal attorney to fight against possible implicationsRead More →

Earths natural water cycle
3 years ago no Comment

Many days here in NW Pa., we get up in the morning and see in the forecast mostly cloudy. This unfortunately is a ‘way to often forecast’ for us, and the bodies of water to our West and Northwest are as much to blame as any storm system that may be coming through. Evaporation Evaporation, a very important part of the global water cycle, can be defined simply by solar radiation hitting the surface of a body of water and changing that water to a gas. That gas is then lifted into the atmosphere, which in turn can cause clouds to form as moisture isRead More →

Climate vs. Weather, climate is over a period of years, weather is minute to minute, day to day
3 years ago no Comment

I’ve listened for way too long to canned responses and reasons that climate change is natural, nothing can be done,  that I’m only a tree hugging ‘Green New Deal’ activist or liberal. Bunk. Everything I write about the climate change in our world is backed by science It pains me that our elected public officials(and you know who you are in this area who voted for these people) have the nerve to conflate the Weather and Climate. Two completely different things. Politicians True Colors For example, during the recent cold blast in the upper  Midwest, in early February, with temps into the -40° range, Individual-1,Read More →

On the 11th of March, 2019, this Administration submitted to congress, a dead on arrival campaign style budget for the upcoming fiscal year for our Country. Viewing this proposal from any other side is just purely political. If you don’t know anyone on Medicaid, Medicare or Social Security, you are either a MAGA person with blinders on or a person wishing they were living in a different country. This Budget takes major cuts into the heart of the majority of Americans and continues the benefits to the wealthiest of folks, already given massive benefits, from the all Republican tax cuts of 2017. And Then There’sRead More →
